TRU Travel Luxe is an independent luxury travel advisory service based in Bismarck, North Dakota, operated by Tricia ("Advisor"). We specialize in bespoke, experience-led travel planning including custom itineraries, luxury travel design, cruise and river cruise bookings, honeymoon and romantic travel, family and multi-generational travel, group travel, all-inclusive resort planning, destination travel, and The Sealed Itinerary™ surprise travel experience.

TRU Travel Luxe acts as an independent travel advisor and agent on behalf of our clients. We work with a global network of trusted suppliers, hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and destination management companies to design and book travel experiences on your behalf.

TRU Travel Luxe charges a professional planning fee for our travel design and advisory services. This fee reflects the time, expertise, research, and personalized service we provide and is separate from the cost of your travel arrangements.

Planning fees are discussed transparently during your initial consultation and must be paid prior to the commencement of itinerary design. Planning fees are non-refundable once work has begun, as they compensate for the professional time and expertise invested in your journey.

Fees vary based on the complexity, duration, and scope of your travel request. Specific fee structures for services including The Sealed Itinerary™ experience are outlined at the time of engagement.

The Sealed Itinerary™ is a signature TRU Travel Luxe experience in which your destination and complete trip details are revealed approximately one week prior to your departure date. By applying for and booking The Sealed Itinerary™, you agree to the following additional terms:

• You acknowledge that the destination and itinerary details will not be disclosed prior to the agreed reveal date, and you accept this as a core feature of the experience.
• You agree to complete the Travel DNA Profile accurately and in full. The quality and personalization of your experience depends entirely on the information you provide.
• You understand that TRU Travel Luxe will design your journey based on your stated preferences, but that the specific destination and experiences are selected at the sole discretion of your Advisor.
• You acknowledge that The Sealed Itinerary™ is a non-refundable experience once the itinerary has been designed and bookings have been confirmed, except as required by applicable law.
• You agree to have valid travel documentation (passport, visa, etc.) for any destination. TRU Travel Luxe is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to inadequate documentation.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended and may be required for The Sealed Itinerary™ experience. TRU Travel Luxe is not liable for costs incurred due to trip interruption, cancellation, or unforeseen circumstances.

All travel bookings are made on your behalf through TRU Travel Luxe's trusted supplier network. Deposits and final payments are due according to the specific supplier's payment schedule, which will be communicated to you clearly at the time of booking.

Payments for travel arrangements are typically made directly to the supplier or through TRU Travel Luxe as your agent. All payment terms, deadlines, and accepted methods will be outlined in your booking confirmation.

Prices quoted are based on availability and current rates at the time of inquiry. Prices are subject to change until a deposit is received and the booking is confirmed. TRU Travel Luxe is not responsible for price changes that occur prior to deposit.

Cancellation policies vary by supplier, destination, and the type of travel booked. All cancellation terms will be clearly communicated to you prior to booking confirmation.

In general:

• Planning fees paid to TRU Travel Luxe are non-refundable once work has commenced.
• Supplier cancellation fees may apply and vary based on how far in advance you cancel. These fees are set by the supplier, not TRU Travel Luxe.
• Some bookings — including non-refundable hotel rates, cruise deposits, and certain tour packages — may be entirely non-refundable.
• TRU Travel Luxe strongly recommends the purchase of comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment against unforeseen cancellations.

TRU Travel Luxe strongly recommends that all clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, and baggage loss or delay.

Travel insurance is especially important for The Sealed Itinerary™ experience and any international travel. TRU Travel Luxe can provide information about travel insurance options, but the purchase of insurance is the sole responsibility of the client.

TRU Travel Luxe is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages that could have been covered by travel insurance.

It is the client's sole responsibility to ensure that all travelers hold valid passports, visas, and any other required travel documentation for their destination(s). Passport validity requirements vary by country — many destinations require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

TRU Travel Luxe will provide general guidance on documentation requirements but is not responsible for any costs, denied boarding, or denied entry resulting from inadequate or expired travel documentation.

TRU Travel Luxe acts as an independent agent on behalf of our clients and is not the owner or operator of any hotel, resort, cruise line, airline, tour operator, or other travel supplier. We are not responsible for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or irregularity that may occur due to the actions or omissions of any supplier.

TRU Travel Luxe's liability in connection with any travel booking shall not exceed the total planning fees paid to TRU Travel Luxe for that specific booking. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or punitive damages of any kind.

TRU Travel Luxe is not responsible for changes, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, weather events, political unrest, pandemics, government travel advisories, or acts of God.

TRU Travel Luxe is affiliated with Virtuoso, a global network of luxury travel advisors. Virtuoso benefits — including room upgrades, hotel credits, complimentary amenities, and preferred rates — are subject to availability and are provided at the discretion of the participating hotel, resort, or cruise line.

Virtuoso benefits cannot be guaranteed and may not be available at all properties or on all sailings. TRU Travel Luxe will make every effort to secure applicable benefits on your behalf but cannot guarantee their availability.

TRU Travel Luxe collects personal information — including your name, contact details, travel preferences, and payment information — solely for the purpose of providing travel planning services. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to complete your travel bookings.

The Sealed Itinerary™ is a proprietary trademark of TRU Travel Luxe. All content on this website — including text, images, design, and branding — is the intellectual property of TRU Travel Luxe and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Dakota, United States of America. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the services provided by TRU Travel Luxe shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of North Dakota.

TRU Travel Luxe reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
